Ah Chiang's Porridge @ Tiong Poh Road, Tiong Bahru

Had dinner there on a weekend night. The system here is to order from the cashier and make payment first. Then, the staff will deliver the food and drinks to your table.

fried fish skin (炸鱼皮) and a plate of raw fish slices (鱼生)
mixed porky parts porridge (猪什粥) with additional egg

The porridge here was silky smooth (滑粥), but there wasn't alot of ingredients in it. Had the fried fish skin and raw fish slices to go along with the porridge.

The fried fish skin was crunchy and remained crunchy even when dunked into the porridge. First impression of the raw fish slices was...so tiny?? And yet, that plate costs a whopping $5.30! Gosh. Inflation ha?

Pacific Saury raw fish slices (秋刀鱼)

There's actually two choices for the raw fish, and the other one costs $3+ only. Didn't try the other version though.
