After enjoying the seaview at Seogwipean Bakery, we proceeded to enjoy mountain view at Seongsan Ilchubong. A Unesco World Heritage site, we enjoyed our stroll there. But boy, the wind is strong! It was enough to move your body and I am not that light.
Here's some photos:

After that, of course, it was time for lunch. We saw there's a burger place when we descended from Seongsan, so it was easily decided to dine there.

Surprisingly, I didn't order a beer. Ivan did. I ordered their hallabong freeze. Hehe, when in Jeju, drink hallabong! I liked my drink. The best remedy on a hot day!

boneless chicken and pork & shrimp burger |
The lunch looked good actually. The boneless chicken was like a super-sized popcorn chicken. Served piping hot and juicy!

yup, there's shrimp in there |
The pork burger, one could taste the ginger in there. Shrimps were nice and visible although not much flavour.
Overall, a nice place to chill with air-conditioning. The shop owner/staff there was pretty relaxed too.

It was a day to travel up north, heading towards Seongsan Ilchulbong. We stopped by Seogwipean Bakery for breakfast.

Not sure about you but I felt the urge to buy all those cutesy/delicious looking breads/pastries. Alas, need to refrain as stomach space is limited and we'll be out the whole day and this is just our first stop!
Bring your tray of breads/pastries that you have selected to the cashier and the staff will enquire if you like the bread to be sliced (or to be heated up etc), whether you'll have it dine-in or take-away. For drinks, I ordered the Jeju Green Barley Coffee, one of their indicated signature. I asked the staff if hot or iced is better and he said he prefers it hot, so I got that.

We brought our breads and drinks upstairs to enjoy. Will be keeping the jalapeno bread for tea-break.

cheddar cheese cookie |
The cookie was very flavourful with strong cheddar cheese. Pretty filling too! The Jeju Green Barley Coffee only had a slight hint of barley and loved the matcha cream in it. Comforting and yummy.

It was a nice place to chill before heading towards the next destination.
We felt like having some beef for dinner tonight, so Ivan started Googling / Navering and found one that's pretty near our location that night. I didn't even know the name of the shop when we just casually walked over with Ivan in the lead.

We were greeted by the shop owner, as we entered the place and he asked if we were here for 돼지고기 (pork) or 소고기 (beef). I answered "소고기".
The boss spoke Korean and we tried to respond accordingly with our limited capability. Hahaa! But he was kind and helped us with our order by just bringing us the appropriate amount of meat for the 4 of us.

ready to start |
Side dishes were brought out accordingly and the grill was lined up with egg and lots of cheese. Once this was almost ready, the boss would urge us to scoop the cooked jiggly eggs out cleanly and quickly (before it starts burning) and then poured us some more of those liquid eggs, and more cheese. Wow, like a mini buffet for the 계란 .
The meat was served with a bowl of marinade (sauce) and we were supposed to dip the meat into the sauce briefly before placing them onto the grill.

let's cook! |
The meat was easy to grill as it was cut like smaller strips. Not sure about the amount of meat that was served to us but it looked to be about 400 gms.
can't wait to dig in! |
The marinade was good and the meat was flavourful, tender with a nice chew. The side dishes include kimchi and quail's eggs. And plenty of the egg with cheese. Like, alot! Hahaa!
let's have some beer |
